Financial Analyst

• Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions
• Proficiency in NAVAIR systems such as N-ERP and the Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT)
• Ensure funding documents are executed in accordance with Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) policy and fiscal law
• Track and update program office spend plans for all relevant financial execution data for various funding appropriations
• Provide analysis and recommendations to the program office Business Financial Managers (BFM) regarding financial execution based on analysis of data

•  3+ years of experience performing duties described in the responsibilities description

Desired Experience

• At least one (1) year of NAVAIR financial experience

EDUCATION – from statement of work

Degree: BA/BS degree

Allowable Substitution:

• Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

OR

• Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

CLEARANCE – from statement of work

Must maintain Secret security clearance eligibility at minimum

May require access to classified information up to and including Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)

Condition of Employment:  Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
