Overview

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst Junior with 2+ years' experience for Department of Defense program onsite at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake in Ridgecrest, CA. and/or Point Mugu Naval Base in Camarillo, CA. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $63,230.00 USD to $102,800.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
  • May analyze or recommend commercially available software

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions
  • Develop and run algorithms
  • Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve software or computer systems
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
  • May analyze or recommend commercially available software
  • Reviews program plans for specific weapons systems, sub-systems, and equipment or information technology systems
  • Working at the customer's site with government personnel to ensure program success

Qualifications

  • Over 2 years of experience performing the duties described in the Functional Description and Responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
  • Ability to work independently; self-starter
  • Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

 

EDUCATION

Degree: High School Diploma

CLEARANCE

Condition of Employment:  Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Level Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
