Brandes Associates Inc. (BAI), a Defense contractor, is seeking Program / Project Management Analysts with 3-10 years of experience for classified programs, working onsite at Point Mugu Naval Air Station in Camarillo, CA.


$64,000.00 USD to $120,000.00 USD is the typical annual salary range for this position. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.



Project Management Functions:

  • Conducts research, applies analytic techniques, and advises the MDEWSSA IPT on various tasks supporting the business operations of the MDEWSSA IPT
  • Responsible for the administration of the MDEWSSA IPT ELC Confluence page, the employee locator’s calendar, events calendar, and support ELC meeting to take notes, document, and track actions
  • Collects program information from technical specialists, enters it into electronic or manual information systems, and searches for it as requested
  • Executes administrative data processing, files management, staff support work; and technical tasks supporting the business operations of the MDEWSSA IPT
  • Research and advises the MDEWSSA IPT on the aspects of supply management, procurement and administration, which includes purchasing supplies and services through Government Purchase Card, and processing and tracking purchase documents
  • Performs a variety of recordkeeping, reporting, and informational duties in support of the MDEWSSA IPT procurement buys

Lab and Security Functions:

  • Completes requests for personnel access to secure labs; and distributes forms and instructions for lab access approvals and ensures timely, proper completion. Conducts and holds new employee lab procedure orientation sessions
  • Facilitate actions management, maintain lab SOP and security check list, IT action management, training coordinator for on board classes, and on-board assistance for new employees
  • Responsible for the employees and visitors authorizing access to the building/labs and/or computer systems. Support employee’s check-out procedure. 
  • Acts as the Key Farm Manager, coordinates NMCI requirements, help with IPT meeting coordination and setup


  • Between 3 and 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
  • Skilled with and able to generate products using Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Project, Access, Excel, Power Point, Word, and Visio
  • Knowledge of FMS programs is a plus
  • Experience working with Government service employees, managers, and resource sponsors is a plus


  • BS or BA degree in Business Management or a relevant technical discipline
  • Allowable Substitution: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant Associate’s Degree


  • Condition of employment - must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
